North America’s first certified direct air capture carbon removal credits issued by Isometric from Deep Sky Alpha in Alberta, Canada, for Microsoft and Royal Bank of Canada (RBC)

SMBC’s investment in Deep Sky supports the development and commercialization of DAC-based carbon removal credits in Japan by leveraging Deep Sky’s expertise in project development, CO₂ storage, and high-quality carbon credit generation to accelerate customer decarbonization efforts and market growth.

Deep Sky today announced a ten-year offtake agreement with TD Bank Group. TD will purchase over 18,000 verified direct air capture carbon dioxide removal credits from Deep Sky.
